VGLUG is sharing various technology knowledge with rural college students. As part of this initiative, we conduct weekly Data analytics with Python and DevOps training classes. The training is divided into 5 teams due to a large number of participants. Engineering students are assigned to Data analytics with Python team 1 & 2, Arts & Science students toData analytics with Python team 1 & 2 , and overall Devops participants are in a separate team. During these sessions, we share knowledge about Data analytics with Python, Cyber Security, free software technologies, tools, and social activities.

The first week of our training classes began with an orientation session led by Sathish and Dhayalan, the principal of SRIMAA Preschool. Following the orientation, we formed the five groups as mentioned above.

Session 1: Introduction to Programming
In this session, Sathish introduced the basics of programming languages. He explained how programming languages were invented, their evolution, and their significance in today’s technological world.
Session 2: Kick Start to Python
Deepak handled the second session, which was focused on giving a kick start to Python. He covered fundamental concepts and provided a solid foundation for the participants to build upon in the upcoming sessions.
