Hello all,
VGLUG sharing various technology knowledge to rural college students. As part of it we are doing Web Development Training class every week. The training is divided into two teams due to huge number of participants. 3rd and final year students are in the Red team and the 1st and 2nd year students are in the Blue team. In this Web Development training we share knowledge about Web Development(ReactJS and NodeJS), Free software technologies, tools and social activities.

- This week Red team – Web Development session was handled by Sathish, Viji and Karkee.
- We celebrated May Day (International Labour Day). So that we discussed history of may day. Also, Sathish said importance of may day.
- Sathish has been explained to-do list in Reactjs. Participants are more interested and asked so many doubts regarding this.
- Viji volunteered this week session.
- Finally, Karkee given talk about last four weeks sessions, what we are doing, why all we need to involve into VGLUG.
- 30+ people attended this week class.

- This week Blue team – Web Development session was handled by Keerthana, Manimaran and Karkee .
- Keerthana explained basics of JavaScript (Conditional statements and Datatypes) and she gave task.
- Then, Manimaran took the session on GNU/linux installation and told how to boot Linux os in pendrive using tools. And he explained how to divide the partion in os & explained importance of GNU/Linux. Around 7 laptops installed xubuntu os.
- Then Manimaran explained the international may day history, why we need to celebrate and what is the importance of may day.
- Karkee gave the detailed introduction about the VGLUG and its structures.
- At the end of session Keerthana shared few books to web development partipants. Such as aayesha, darwin, ethu nalla palli, etc.
- This week class 25+ peoples got presented.
