VGLUG Foundation at India FOSS 2026 | Bengaluru: Connecting, Sharing, and Growing Together!
The spirit of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) is all about collaboration, sharing knowledge, and building a better digital future together. At India FOSS 2026 in Bengaluru, VGLUG Foundation had the wonderful opportunity to be part of this vibrant community and showcase our journey, initiatives, and contributions.
Showcasing Our Community and Initiatives
Representing VGLUG Foundation, Deepak, Vasanth, and Prathap participated in the event and hosted our booth, creating opportunities to connect with people who share our passion for FOSS, open knowledge, and community-driven learning.
Our booth became a space to introduce visitors to the work of VGLUG Foundation, share our experiences, and talk about our initiatives in promoting Free and Open Source Software, digital empowerment, and accessible technology.
Connecting with the FOSS Community
One of the most valuable parts of the event was connecting with contributors, developers, speakers, enthusiasts, and fellow community builders. Every conversation offered an opportunity to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives, and learn from the diverse experiences of the FOSS community.
Meeting people who believe in the power of openness and collaboration reminded us that FOSS is not just about software; it is about people, shared knowledge, and communities working together to create meaningful change.
Learning, Sharing, and Moving Forward
Being part of India FOSS 2026 was an inspiring experience for VGLUG Foundation. It gave us an opportunity to strengthen existing connections, build new relationships, and share our vision of making technology and knowledge accessible to everyone.
Experiences like these motivate us to continue encouraging students, volunteers, and communities to explore, learn, contribute, and grow through Free and Open Source Software.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, interacted with our team, learned about our initiatives, and shared their thoughts with us. Your enthusiasm and support made this experience even more meaningful.
We are grateful to be part of a community that believes in openness, inclusivity, and collective growth. As we move forward, VGLUG Foundation looks forward to creating more opportunities for learning, collaboration, and meaningful contributions to the FOSS ecosystem.
Special thanks to Deepak, Vasanth, and Prathap for their valuable support and contributions in representing VGLUG Foundation at India FOSS 2026 in Bengaluru.
